There’s nothing like enjoying homemade fruit popsicles on a hot day! The problem with the store-bought kind is that they typically contain high fructose corn syrup and artificial flavors. Not these! Making homemade fruit popsicles are a fun way for kids and adults to experiment in the kitchen. It’s also an easy way to add more nutrients into your day without using refined sugar.
1 pound of any fruit of your choice (you can combine a few together)
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup milk
sugar to taste, optional
add all the ingredients to the bowl of a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Taste and add sugar if needed, depending on the ripeness of your fruit and your taste preferences.
You can add chocolate, nuts or whatever you like! (be creative!)
Pour the liquid into popsicle molds, insert the handles, and freeze until firm, generally overnight.
Enjoy frozen the next day!
